I always liked the idea of having a miniature version of what the pyramids originally looked like. This marble makes the perfect base; it serves as a ”sand” layer, and sets the piece apart from just regular pyramid paperweights. As is typical from this shop, I’m very pleased

At one point, I’d happened across a bookend with a carved marble chair/throne. It looked really cool, but I decided to try and make my own version — like ya do. Maybe I I’m biased, but I think this piece could rival it, and it’s 100% the marble here that sets it over the top

This marble is fantastic! It’s got nice swirls and veining that vary the tone just enough to keep it interesting, while still being subtle and complementing whatever you pair it with. I’m very pleased
